Homebirth
Homebirth with a skilled provider is safe for women with a low-risk pregnancy. The research that has been done indicates that outcomes (health of mother and baby) are just as good for these women as they are in the hospital. Rates of interventions such as Cesarean section are much lower for women who plan an out of hospital birth.
